WHO IS GREG?

Greg Curtis Jr. is a seasoned marketing and sales executive based in the Chicagoland area, drawing on a rich entrepreneurial heritage spanning three generations. His enthusiasm for the outdoors—including fishing, camping, rollerblading, and boating on Lake Michigan—nourishes both his personal and professional endeavors, providing continuous inspiration and balance.

As a dedicated community leader, Greg serves on the John G. Shedd Aquarium Auxiliary Board, where he contributes to fundraising and engagement initiatives supporting the aquarium's mission to inspire, entertain, and educate. He also mentors emerging marketers through the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association, demonstrating a leadership style that harmoniously blends a commitment to nature, people, and impactful community involvement.

Greg's professional journey includes pivotal roles at distinguished organizations such as Atlantic Records, Cornerstone Promotions, Obama for America, NBC Universal, CDW, Uber Technologies, and AnswersMedia. These experiences have endowed him with a diverse skill set and a comprehensive understanding of the marketing and sales landscape, enhancing his ability to drive innovative strategies and cultivate meaningful industry relationships.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago, where he pursued a double major in Philosophy and Marketing with a minor in Theology. At Loyola, Greg actively engaged in numerous of student leadership roles. He further honed his educational career and expertise by earning an MBA from Purdue University - West Lafayette, where he played a pivotal role in leading his cohort’s executive committee and class Vice President. During his MBA, Greg participated in the LVMH Luxury Marketing Bootcamp, leading his team to successfully launch a luxury product in a high-pressure environment. This experience sharpened his skills in strategic planning, communications, and commercial execution, solidifying his reputation as a dynamic leader.
