BrandU Series - 2017

Uber’s work culture has often been reviewed within the media as hostile, unrestrained, and a pressure cooker. I was tasked to develop a rubric that would inspire and uplift the Global Community Operations division for its Center of Excellence employee population that services specialized support for critical incidents on the Uber platform.

I uncovered an opportunity to increase employee morale and influence the culture. I sought out to secure a professional photographer, internal networking, and external networking opportunities with strategic partnerships, and seek mentoring opportunities internally for career advancement. I titled the program, “BrandU.”

The BrandU showcased a 45% increase in employee morale and fostered 20% employee retention via turnover rates.
